Refund policy
At Rippa Australia, we specialize in high-value heavy machinery. Due to the nature of equipment imports and logistics, our refund and return policies are strictly enforced to ensure the sustainability of our service and pricing.
1. Deposits & Order Confirmation
All equipment purchases require a 40% non-refundable deposit at the time of order placement. This deposit secures your specific machine, covers manufacturer allocation, and initiates order processing. Once the deposit is paid and the order is processed, it is non-refundable.
2. Final Sale Policy
Due to the nature of heavy machinery and special-order imports, all equipment sales are final once confirmed. We do not accept returns, and no refunds are available after the machine has been confirmed or shipped under any circumstances.
3. Payment & Release
- Pickup Orders: The remaining 60% balance is due in full at the time of pickup. Payment must clear in our account prior to the release of the machine.
- Shipped Orders: Full payment must be received and cleared before shipment dispatch is authorized. No equipment will leave our facility without cleared funds.
4. Owner’s Package & Inspection
Before any machine is released (pickup or shipping), the Owner's Package documentation must be signed and returned. This includes the Bill of Sale, Pre-Delivery Inspection Confirmation, and Waiver of Liability. By signing these documents, the purchaser confirms the equipment is accepted in satisfactory condition.
5. Order Cancellations
If you need to request a cancellation before the order is placed with the manufacturer, please contact us immediately. Once the order has been submitted to the manufacturer or processing has begun, cancellation and refund of the deposit are no longer possible.
6. Title & Risk of Loss
The title and risk of loss transfer to the purchaser at the point of shipment. Once the equipment leaves our facility or is dispatched via a freight carrier, the sale is final. Cancellations and returns are not permitted after this point.
